Juanita was born and raised in Churchill Falls and started Everything Cake By Juanita from her home in Bay Roberts, where she and her husband raised 2 children. While running a very busy and successful custom cake business from her home, Juanita's work was featured on the cover of Cake Central Magazine and in the Adore Wedding Cakes book. She has participated on Winner Cake All, a Food Network production, and The Big Bake, a Food Network Canada production.

In 2020 Juanita teamed up with Powell's Supermarket and brought Everything Cake inside their Bay Roberts store location. Aside from custom cake orders ranging from birthday to wedding cakes, you can find a variety of specialty baked items created by both her and her apprentice Keri-Lynn Cramm in special coolers at both Powell's locations.
